Cameron Daddo joins Smoothfm
Cameron Daddo has joined DMG radio’s Smoothfm as a presenter across its Sydney and Melbourne stations.
The actor will host a Sunday morning show from 8-10am, commencing on 21 October and into the new year.
Daddo joins a list of high profile presenters, both regular such as Jason Donovan and David Reyne, and guest presenters such as Seal and Michael Bublé, the new easy listening network has scored since rebranding the network in May.
Daddo, who is currently on stage with the production Legally Blonde, after returning from Los Angeles after nearly 20 years said: “I am honoured to be part of the smoothfm team. It’s an amazing group of people; Richard Wilkins and Jason Donovan, great mates of mine, as well as David Reyne and David Campbell to name a few. Not surprisingly smoothfm is my first choice on the radio.”
Paul Jackson, dmg Radio Australia’s group program director, said: “We are delighted that Australia’s favourite entertainers continue to choose smoothfm for their radio debut. Cameron is an incredibly accomplished international talent.”
That’s great news as I like Cameron. Does anyone know if they are prerecording it on the Monday or Tuesday?
