Jon Holloway departs The Works to run TCO
After two years at The Works, Jon Holloway has left to become managing director at The Conscience Organisation.
Holloway started at the Sydney-based creative agency this week.
Hollway said of the move: “I have a very strong view of what I believe creative work is going to be in a few years and that has driven me to find a new challenge and to also find a host who will accept that. It was just time to move on from The Works. We went on two year journey to bring The Works into digital space and we did that, we had a great time, and won some awards along the way.”
Prior to joining The Works as head of strategy, Holloway was based in the UK where he was a partner at digital agency Hurricane in 2009.
He was brought to Australia by The Works to reinvigorate the agency’s digital presence.
Douglas Nicol, creative partner and director at The Works, said: “We are in the process of searching for a replacement and will have someone in place shortly. We wish Jon all the best in his new role and thank him for the contribution he’s made to the agency.”
Holloway added: “The reason I went with TCO was that everything revolved around the idea of getting people to participate and to understand the story of the brand.”
TCO’s client roster includes Nestle, Coke and Optus.
