Hopes for Australia to ‘upset the apple cart’ in new Creative Effectiveness Lions
Half of Australia’s entries for the new Creative Effectiveness Lions are in contention for shortlisting, juror Sudeep Gohil has revealed.
Gohil, executive planning director of Droga 5 in Sydney revealed in a posting on Campaign Brief that four of the eight Australian entries are “doing quite well”. And in a posting for B&T, Gohil predicted that Australia might “upset the apple cart”
The Creative Effectiveness Lion is likely to become one of the most prized awards because of its client-pleasing nature. Only campaigns which won a Lion last year are eligible to enter.
The official shortlist is due to be announced late this afternoon (Friday), Australian time. The winners will be announced early on Sunday, Australian time, at the final ceremony of the festival.
