Can we get the Channel 7 commentary team to at least acknowledge the other 70 countries when they outperform Australian athletes.
“Bronze, bronze for Australia”
Hullo, that’s the 2nd loser.
In the US for the 1984 LA Olympics and watching US TV coverage it was almost impossible to find out how any other country performed due to the appalling one eyed USA patriotic commentary.
Please Channel 7 acknowledge that on Day 1 there were 14 Golds won by other than Australian athletes.
This is the worst sportsmanship since . . . well . . . since sandpapergate.
