Finding the negative: There’s always one
Former creative director Dave Trott examines negative coverage of a seemingly positive idea: Woolies’ free fruit for kids.
Childhood obesity is a serious problem.
In the UK alone, it’s estimated 25% of boys and girls are overweight. One of the main causes is snacking: sweets, crisps, ice cream, chocolates.
Usually the kids aren’t even hungry, they just eat out of boredom.

I actually look forward to Dave Trott’s view on the world.
This is on the money.
My husband used to create digital training packages for large corporations. One project involved a video with some voice over instruction and during one bit where there wasn’t a voice over, his client made him add a caption on the screen that said something like “no voice over in this section” because one person on the client side was momentarily confused and thought everyone else would be too. There is always one.
