Vividwireless launches campaign to mark roll out of 4G network
Australia’s first 4G wireless broadband network, Vividwireless, has unveiled a marketing campaign to support its roll out in Perth.
The Seven Network-owned operation is utilising the group’s TV, press and online assets to promote the 4G network.
There will also be radio, outdoor and experiential activity, and sponsorships.
The ads feature the tagline “Set yourself free”.
Branding, design and above-the-line advertising was created by SoDUS Pitchworks, while Gatecrasher is overseeing below-the-line activity.
Vividwireless said it has signed up 165 subscribers in the two weeks since its soft launch two weeks ago.
It is also planning to extend the 4G network into Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Brisbane, but it will only target inner-city and university communities.

Great ad. It got me to visit the web site.
And, I must say, their web site does an excellent job of talking about how fast the service is without ever mentioning how fast it actually is. As I explored the site, searching for the elusive “bits per second” number (so that I might compare it to a competing service) I felt like a journalist interviewing Kevin Rudd! Although there are plenty of FAQ’s about speed, the answer was not very frequent. No answer at all, actually.
