MySpace’s Nick Love promoted to MD role
The News Corp-owned MySpace and IGN Entertainment have promoted Nick Love to the new role of managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
He moves from his position of executive director business development for the two operations in the Asia-Pacific region. The role will not be directly replaced.
Prior to joining MySpace in 2006, Love held commercial positions in companies including Electronic Arts, Soundbuzz, ARIA and ICE Interactive.
IGN Entertainment is involved in digital distribution, game technology and owns media properties such as Askmen.com.
Love said: “MySpace is in the process of defining how people discover content and be discovered across the web, whilst AskMen and IGN have shown terrific growth over the past year. We are on the cusp of launching a range of fantastic new products across all three sites this year.”
