Six Australian Print campaigns shortlisted at Spikes including Leo Burnett Samsung work
Six Australian campaigns have been shortlisted in the Spikes Asia Print category.
Overall, 12 different Australian executions from half a dozen different campaigns have been shortlisted, including work for Volkswagen from DDB Sydney, Nissan for Whybin\TBWA Melbourne, Ogilvy Melbourne for the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and Meerkats for Lotterywest.
Three Samsung pieces (Intersection, Forest and Crossing) from Leo Burnett Sydney have made the cut. A search for the work by two media monitoring agencies on behalf of Mumbrella previously failed to uncover where the ads had run when they were entered for Cannes, and Leos has declined to say.
Meanwhile Whybin\TBWA saw three ads for Nissan – Quick Brown Fox, Happy Birthday and Signature which all ran in the April edition of supercar magazine EVO and elsewhere – make the shortlist.
DDB Sydney achieved three print shortlistings for work for Volkswagen Genuine Accessories. DDB Sydney is currently fighting to retain the Volkswagen account after it was put out to pitch earlier this month.
Ogilvy Melbourne had one piece of work for the Melbourne Food and Wine show shortlisted, while Perth-based agency Meerkats is also shortliste, for ‘The Bond’ for Lotterywest/RSL.
Filmgraphics Entertainment Sydney were shortlisted for a corporate image titled ‘David Denneen’.
