Osher Gunsberg joins Hit105 Brisbane team and ABC Sydney’s Linda Mottram signs off
Osher Gunsberg, the artist formerly known as Andrew G, has signed on with Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit105 in Brisbane, joining the team of Stav and Abby in the breakfast slot.
Gunsberg has joined the team regularly in the studio over the years but will become a permanent fixture from January next year.
Hit105 Brisbane content director Adrian Brine said the addition of Gunsberg would add a new dimension to the show.
“Osher will add a whole new conversation to the Hit105 breakfast show and closely connect this already fun and entertaining show with music and pop culture in a very unique way. I’m so happy for our Brisbane listeners,” Brine said.
Gunsberg is well known to audiences from his role as a host on The Bachelor Australia and The Bachelorette.
Hit105 saw a 1.7 boost in breakfast in the latest survey.
Meanwhile in Sydney, Linda Mottram, the popular host of ABC702 Mornings, has announced she will not be returning to the slot in 2016.
Mottram took on the popular slot four years ago, and has built a dedicated audience as the one of the few female presenters on Australian talkback radio, helping keep the station at number 2 in the Sydney AM market in the latest ratings.
The ABC said it would reveal Mottram’s replacement and the rest of the 702 lineup later in the year.

Does this mean he has lost The Bachelor job? No way Ten/Shine would let him work on one radio network when they get so much free media coverage of him appearing on all the other network’s stations during the season.
