Seven’s Manhunt fails to crack top 20 for its Sunday night premiere
The premiere of Seven’s Manhunt attracted 449,000 metro viewers for its 7:30pm Sunday night premiere, failing to make the top 20 programs of the evening.

Manhunt was beaten by Nine’s The Block, which held its position as most watched entertainment program, with 1.404m metro viewers. It topped all key advertising demographics – 16-39s, 18-49s, and 25-54s.
Running at the same time was Ten’s Australian Survivor, which achieved 617,000 metro viewers and placed third in the 16-39s, and 18-49s, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary ratings.
The program won the late time slot beating Nine’s Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders, ABC’s Four Corners and Seven’s Highway Patrol, which managed metro audiences of 687,000, 647,000 and 457,000 respectively.
It also placed second across the key advertising demographics, 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.
The 6pm news battle saw Seven win with 1.089m metro viewers, ahead of Nine News’ 998,000.
Nine won the night with an average audience share of 24.1%, however it was a close race for second, with Seven managing a share of 15.6% just 1.1 percentage points ahead of ABC’s 14.5%.
Ten’s share was 13.1% and SBS had a share of 4.9%.
Umm…. this was ‘Monday night’ that Manhunt premiered and was up against the Block, Australian Story etc……
