Pacific puts beauty brands under new network, launches new content studio
Pacific Magazines has bought together its Marie Claire, InStyle and BEAUTY/crew titles under a new brand umbrella, The Beauty Network.
At the same time the company has also launched a new content studio, BeautyWorks.
The network brings together three brands with a combined digital, social and print reach of more than 3 million, Pacific claims.
Nicole Bence, Pacific’s commercial director, said: “Our client partnerships’ teams is actively leveraging insights developed through Pacific’s re-imagined capabilities to connect brands with the right audiences and drive meaningful growth. The Beauty Network is a natural extension of this. It has been purpose-built to help clients understand and respond to the shifting needs and interests of beauty consumers.”
The BeautyWorks content studio will offer brands TVC production, photography, campaign imagery, interactive and shoppable video as well as social campaigns.
Gereurd Roberts, CEO of Pacific Magazines, added: “Through the power of our brands, Pacific has always been a leader in the beauty category. This position is strengthened by the launch of The Beauty Network and BeautyWorks studio which give our partners everything they need to develop customised content, connecting with women of all generations as they move through the path to purchase.”
So basically Beauty Crew was a flop so they had to bring it under one banner?
And I love the dribble that comes out to justify the move. Can anyone tell me what “is actively leveraging insights developed through Pacific’s re-imagined capabilities to connect brands with the right audiences and drive meaningful growth”. What a load of rubbish…

Exactly my thoughts! 🙂
Also, since when they are a leader in the Beauty Category? Beautyheaven.com.au has much higher reach.
