Mediacom chief strategy officer Mike Deane departs to start consultancy
Mediacom’s chief strategy officer, Mike Deane, is departing the agency after two and a half years in the role to start his own consultancy.
Deane joined Mediacom Australia in 2012 after working in the London office, joining as group business director and working his way up to national head of strategy, before being named chief strategy officer AUNZ in June 2017.
“During Mike’s nine year tenure at MediaCom across a number of markets including London, Sydney and Melbourne, he has made a significant impact on developing and implementing strategy for our clients,” Mediacom Australia CEO Willie Pang said.
“Mike’s commitment, drive and passion for MediaCom, his team and clients has been exemplary. To continue the momentum that Mike has participated in building, we are doubling down on our investments in product and strategy leadership, with a particular focus on helping clients to apply marketing science and technology to create growth.
