Moet Hennessy reappoints EVH to the PR account for its spirits portfolio
EVH has retained the public relations account for Moet Hennessy Australia’s portfolio of spirits brands, following a competitive pitch.
EVH was first appointed by the alcoholic beverage group in 2014, taking on the public relations for Belvedere Vodka, Glenmorangie and Ardbeg. The latest appointment will see Hennessy added to the agency’s remit.
EVH will manage and support the local marketing strategy for each brand, with its responsibility covering media, communications, talent, activations, sponsorships and partnerships.
The first campaign to launch will be for Hennessy, off the back of it recently being named the official spirit of the NBA. The multi-year deal is the first time the league has made a global partnership with a spirits brand.
“Throughout the year, Hennessy will celebrate the tradition and mindset of basketball fans in Australia and throughout the world through a range of events, activations and localised content,” EVH founder and managing director Emma van Haandel said.
EVH recently added two fashion houses to its client list of luxury brands; Bally and Sir. Its clients also include Alex Perry, Aesop, Camilla & Marc, Ferrari, Technogym, Vida Glow and Versace.
Last year, Cape Mentelle, part of the Moët Hennessy Wine Division of LVMH, appointed Dialogue PR to its public relations account.
