Most recorded Aussie TV shows last week: MasterChef and Home & Away
Of the ten most recorded TV shows last week, only two were Australian productions.
Ten’s cook-off MasterChef and Seven soap Home & Away were the only Aussie shows in a top ten in which the top five were US imports.
MasterChef is sixth. It bumped up its overnight total of 943,000 to over 1m in the seven days since the original broadcast on 24 May.
Home & Away is tenth, with 58,000 people recording it to watch later, according to OzTam data.
Grey’s Anatomy was the most recorded show last week, adding 158,000 viewers.
Seven’s medical drama Private Practice increased its audience by 75% in a week.
Seven and Ten both have four shows in the top ten. Nine and ABC1 both have one.

We have to record Masterchef, because after rating its head off last year at 7.30pm Channel 10 decided in their wisdom this year to move it to 7pm. Seriously inconvenient.

I thought Private Practice jumped the shark midway through Season 4 and ditched it. What season are they screening in Aus?
