Coca-Cola gives GoCatch users chance to win free ride in No Sugar promotion
While Woolworths won’t be stocking Coca-Cola’s latest drink, Coca-Cola No Sugar in its stores, GoCatch will be helping with the brand’s new product lunch, giving free car trips around Sydney city over the weekend.
The Coca-Cola No Sugar Free Fare Weekend, will give users the chance to win a free ride up to $30 this weekend.
In order to win, consumers need to download the GoCatch app – which is used by taxis and private cars – and request a GoCatch vehicle. If this user receives a car covered in Coca-Cola No Sugar branding, they will win a free ride.
Samples of the new product will also be handed out to passengers.
The cars will be running between the hours of 2pm and 10pm from 7 July to 9 July.
CCA ballsed up this whole branding transition exercise from top level marketing right down to retail buying level. It should be used as a case study for what not to do in business and marketing education.
