Life360 appoints Australian communications agency of record

Creative communications agency History Will Be Kind has been reappointed as the Australian comms agency of record for family safety app Life360.

After a successful six-month engagement, the agency has retained the account with responsibilities including always-on PR designed to educate media and consumers on Life360 and its benefits. It has also been tasked with building, protecting and elevating the app’s narrative in the local market, showing Aussies why is it one of the world’s leading family connection apps.

With over 2.2 million Australian users, Life360 offers location sharing, item tracking and safety services to keen families and their belongings safe.

The agency helped launch Life360’s new Triple Tier membership offering earlier this year, which includes a suite of new features including identity theft protection, data breach alerts and emergency response.

“History Will Be Kind has become an integral part of our business in Australia over the past six months,” said Life360’s director of communications and public relations, Kristi Collura.

“Not only has the agency’s work demonstrated they understand our mission and commitment to transforming everyday concerns into moments of connection and peace of mind, but it has also helped differentiate us in a competitive market.”

History Will Be Kind’s recently promoted group account director, Lizzy Chadwick, said: “The juggle is real for many families, as parents are left to coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs, after school clubs and social commitments. All whilst promoting their kids’ independence, as they start learning to drive or socialising alone.

“That’s why we’re pleased to be helping Life360, as it arms families with the tools they need to stay safe and connected, be it online, in the comfort of their home, or on the open road.”

Life360 joins the agency’s growing client roster alongside Durex, Sanitarium Weet-Bix and Sharesies, among other leading brands.
