The announcement:

Creative powerhouse, MIK Studio, has today launched a new podcast recording space to bolster its creative and production capabilities, and support its growing client base.

The expansion of the existing facilities will help to deliver a premium service to its current roster of esteemed domestic and global clients, which includes; Spotify, Netflix, News Corp and ARN.

With some of Australia’s biggest podcast titles already under its belt – including The Inspired Unemployed Podcast, Who is Daniel Johns?, I Catch Killers and more on the way – the new recording space will allow MIK Studio to push its presence further into the podcast and audio space.

Dylan Adams, head of audio at MIK Studio sees the new recording studio as a vehicle to amplify the creative output of the production team.

“We’ve had to learn on the fly a bit and in a lot of ways it’s been sink or swim, but getting to work with such amazing clients on a range of incredible projects, we couldn’t have asked for a better class room. And it’s all these leanings that have gone into the new facilities.

“At MIK Studio we want to inspire our creators to produce exceptional content that’s led by their individuality, and part of that is giving them the support and facilities they need to really flex their creative muscle,” said Adams.

“Technically there is no other space in Sydney like it. Easily accommodating up to 8 guests, with multi-camera and video link up capabilities, the new facilities give our talent and producers the ability to explore endless creative options, and bring guests from all around Australia and the world into the studio with a press of a button.”

Founded in 2000, MIK Studio is focused on producing creative output that feels like a phonetic extension of the brand and their campaign.

The award-winning agency has a growing team in Australia with plans to expand to new markets in the new year.

Adam Callen, founder of MIK Studio, is excited to see the future growth.

“MIK Studio is a space where creatives from all walks of life can thrive. We’re a band of misfits creators from unconventional backgrounds who are driven purely by the need to create compelling and distinctive content.

“The last few years has seen MIK Studio build strong and trusting relationships with key clients. These relationships are forged off the back of our ability to consistently deliver on creative expectations and have resulted in us working on some truly amazing campaigns.

“With the talent and facilities we have in-house we are well-equipped to support the needs of our clients and provide a seamless end-to-end creative experience, both in Australia and at a global scale.
