Mobile commerce, measurement and strategy to be discussed at first Mumbrella Mobile Marketing Masterclass next month
Mumbrella is holding a mobile masterclass to help marketers and agencies make the most of the fastest growing medium in advertising.
The half-day course covers evolving trends including mobile payment, how to capitalise on the shift of marketing dollars into mobile and how to meaningfully measure performance.
It is being curated by one of Australia’s mobile pioneers, Rob Marston, the founder of mobile-first digital agency Zeus Unwired who previously launched mobile ad network giant InMobi into the Australian market, and is a lecturer on mobile at UTS and Mumbrella Digital School.
Speakers on the day include Woolworths head of technology Has Fakira on how the supermarket giant has got customers spending more with a new mobile strategy.
Yahoo7’s mobile strategy and advertising manager Vanessa Hunt and independent media measurement consultant Gai le Roy will be on a panel looking at best practice in mobile measurement.
A session looking at the mobile payment revolution will see Roy Morgan’s Jason Hulme, Greg Taylor of Clipp, Paul Greenberg of NORA and Daniel Nelson from Braintree discussing the opportunity for marketers in the space.
Big Mobile CEO Graham Christie and general manager of Bauer Xcel Media Marcelo Silva will be on a panel answering audience questions about the space at the end of the morning session.
The event takes place in Sydney on August 27 and is aimed at marketers, app developers and owners, agencies, media sales executives, SMEs and operations and finance managers.
