So you’re in media, but what exactly do you do?
It’s MFA Awards call for entry time, and this year the Media Federation has decided to launch them with a humorous new video featuring a conversation which might be a little too familiar for many in the industry.
The video opens on a first date with a woman asking the man, “So you’re in media?”, before making a series of assumptions of what he might do in the media, including acting, producing, directing and even a journalist.
Eventually the man gets past his stock retort when asked which is “best part of 10 years” before deluging his date with all the best jargon from the industry.
Keep an eye out along the way for a few cameos from some of the more familiar faces of the industry.

Great example of why media people should stay in media, not creative.

Great example of why some creative people should get off their high horse and spend a bit more time understanding media (and vice versa).
