I enjoyed it. Box office fatigue isn’t surprising after Disney botched the franchise with The Last Jedi. That film was popular with critics trained in Pomo ideology, whose first concerns are “subverting expectations” and diversity casting. But the core fans who just wanted a good story that was true to the legendary characteristics of the saga were left alienated. Flooding the market with money-grubbing crap like Solo added another nail to the coffin. Kathleen Kennedy needs to go.
