Sunday’s Married At First Sight pulls 1.184m metro viewers
Sunday night’s episode of Married At First Sight topped the ratings ladder with 1.184m metro viewers tuning in to watch it on Nine, according to OzTAM’s preliminary overnight figures.
The number was slightly below last Sunday night’s high of 1.2m, however still managed to top the key advertising demographics of those aged 16 to 39, 18 to 49 and 25 to 54.

The show helped Nine to a winning primary channel audience share of 27.0%, and a network share of 34.8%.
Seven’s prime-time offering, My Kitchen Rules: The Rivals, had 482,000 metro viewers, down from last week’s 525,000, while Ten’s Dancing With The Stars had 417,000, down from last week’s 482.000. The elimination segment of the episode had 410,000, down from 468,000 last week.
With the addition of regional viewers, MAFS had 1.602m, My Kitchen Rules: The Rivals 751,000, and Dancing With The Stars 605,000. The elimination climbed to 610,000.
In the news battle, Seven News won overall with 902,000 metro viewers and 1.377m across the country. Nine News won in Sydney and Melbourne, but its total was 838,000 across the cities and 1.126m nationally.
Earlier in the evening, 10 News First had 239,000 metro viewers and 341,000 nationally, while later on ABC News pulled 706,000 and 1.026m.
Overall, Seven placed second for the evening with 14.5% for its primary channel, behind Nine’s 27.0%. Seven Network had 22.6%. ABC was third on 12.8% and 17.3%, while Ten placed fourth on 9.9% and 16.1%. SBS had 6.1% and 9.3%.
Ten’s multi-channel Bold and Nine’s Gem had 3.6% a piece, making them the most popular across the multi-channels.
I regularly see YouTube videos gets millions of views. Why do we only report on TV shows?
