CHEP banks AMP creative account
Mumbrella can reveal financial services company AMP has appointed CHEP Network as its strategic and creative agency, following a competitive review.
With the appointment, CHEP will work with AMP across brand, content, digital, and owned channels. The win is effective immediately. It is understood the incumbent of the account was Bastion.
CMO at AMP, Renee Howie said: “As AMP embarks on an exciting new phase, we wanted to find a creative agency to work with us as we rebuild what is an iconic Australian brand. In CHEP, we’ve found a partner that is the perfect fit for our business and aspirations, and we can’t wait to get started.”
Managing director at CHEP Sydney, Jonny Berger said: “AMP is one of Australia’s long-standing financial institutions, dedicated to building its position as a purpose-led, customer-focused business – we look forward to realising this ambition together with the brilliant team at AMP.”
AMP provides superannuation and investment products to Australians and New Zealanders, as well as financial advice, and banking products which include home loans and savings accounts.
It has been a busy 2022 so far for CHEP, after rebranding from CHE Proximity and going to market with its new proposition. CEO Justin Hind spoke about the moves and the agency’s progression on the Mumbrellacast.
Recently it appointed Clemenger BBDO’s Lilian Sor as its new chief strategy officer, replacing David Halter. It also won the creative account for Officeworks this year.
