Kyle & Jackie O back on air on Tuesday – with time delay
The Kyle & Jackie O Show will return to the airwaves next Tuesday, with a time delay in place, Austereo has announced.
The pair’s 2Day FM show – which also appears as highlights on the rest of the Austereo network – has been suspended since a few days after a 14-year-old girl taking part in a lie detector segment said live on air that she had been raped.
A growing public, media and advertiser backlash led to the show – Sydney’s best rating FM breakfast programme – being taken off air. Kyle Sandilands was also removed as a judge on Ten’s Australian Idol.
Austereo said in a statement today:
“Kyle and Jackie O will return on Tuesday 18th August, 2009.
“Through an internal review, 2DAYFM has identified certain procedures that allowed this segment to go to air. Following this review, 2DAYFM stands behind Kyle and Jackie O. The station has implemented new structures and systems in relation to the use of time delay, pre-recording and procedures dealing with interviews, to avoid a repetition of the occurrence on 29 July 2009.
“2DAY FM and Kyle and Jackie O understand the gravity of this matter, sincerely regret the segment and apologise to the participants and audiences who were offended.”
Not even an admission that asking 14 year olds about their sex life is wrong! They don’t actually say what specifically was wrong with the segment at all. Appalling. After getting yesterday’s form letter from 2Day FM in response to my complaint, I’ll follow up with the toothless tigers at ACMA.
Of course the only way to get these appalling people off air is to find a way to appeal to their audience, preferably without a show where bullying humour is not the focus. Ideas?

Let’s face it. They appeal to the young and dumb, where any reference to a Willie is compelling. I was hoping we heard the last of them, but I think these guys played it very well. Let’s pretend to take them off air for misconduct and serious review only to get awesome publicity and now they are…as always expected…back on air. Regrettably!

There’s a gig I wouldn’t want come Monday morning at 2Day FM – phone vetter … Hell. On. Earth. They’ll probably give the gig to a 14yo and FILM her for sadistic purposes.

We should remind people that Austereo have in no way taken any action during this whole sorry affair. The decision to stand down was taken by Kyle, reportedly after he chucked the sooks about having to use a delay. Austereo’s management have done nothing, with no attempt to reign them or their production team in, and therefore have demonstrated that they are not “fit and proper” broadcasters to be using public airways.
ACMA must come down heavy on them – their fine must be massive.

I recieved the response to the complaint letter I sent to Austereo, it was stock standard and talked about how they’d organised counselling for the girl – however, I’d actually just complained about them breaching the commercial codes of practice by broadcasting sexually explicit content, I didn’t even mention the bit about the girl saying she’d been raped.
Off to ACMA with yet another form to fill out – joy.

The timing was spot on for K & J’o. It was at the end of the rating season and they were actually scheduled to take a two week break as they always do at the end of the rating period.
I’m surprised the media failed to pick up on this.

Clearly people on this site are of above average intelligence. Sadly, in many other places there is nothing but support for Kyle and Jackie O, as evidenced by all the sympathetic tweets going around recently.
2Day represents the ultimate decline in both media quality and conduct, appealing to the lowest common denominator. The fact that they are the highest rating FM program makes me deeply concerned for society.
For every one of us that wants them off air, there must be two or three that want them to stay… until they leave, or the advertisers do, we’re fighting a losing battle.

Hi Adam,
The next ratings period began straight away, so I suspect their absence will affect their next numbers slightly. We’ll find out on September 15.
Cheers,
Tim
And what about that pathetic ACA story with the aunties of that 14 yr old girl…trying to paint a ‘poor Kyle’ picture. What’s the bet Nine have him lined up for some rediculous reality show since being sacked from Ten.
User ID not verified.
Andrew Wilson is right on both counts – that we are highly intelligent people on this site and that it is the lowest common denominator that drives not just 2DAY FM but also programs such as Today Tonight, A Current Affair and all the News Ltd publications.
Why is it so hard to lift standards and be a smart country? Why does someone elses misfortune, especially when its about sex, have to rate so highly? Did we only just climb down out of the trees?
Sorry too many questions born out of frustration at the lack of quality broadcast and print media out there. Thank goodness for forums like this.
I hope the advertisers do see sense and put their dollars somewhere other than the Vile and Tacky O Show.

Within the first five minutes of Vile and Tacky O back on the air it will be obvious that they have no genuine contrition for what they’ve done.

I think people in the media are a little quick to call for the scalps of high profile talent. There’s a reason people like this show, and it’s not because it is lowest common denominator. It’s because Kyle and Jackie O can be really entertaining. They go out on limb and try new things. Sometimes it works, and this time it didn’t. I don’t listen to their show every day, but sometimes I’ll catch some of it in the car and it’s not the worst thing on the air.
These guys made an error of judgement, and their management have responded internally in a way that they hope will mean it never happens again.
Sure, the segment was a bad idea. True – it probably shouldn’t have made its way past the ideas meeting and onto the schedule. Frankly, I am amazed that the Producer wasn’t fired. After all, nobody should give their talent a question they don’t know that answer to!
The guidelines have a massive loophole. If the segment doesn’t offend the target listener, it’s OK.
How many letter writers were actually listening? Not to the repeats …. but to the actual show.

It will be interesting to see what marketers choose ratings and numbers over the detrimental impact being on Kyle and Jackie O will cause their brand. If I was a brand manager I would not want my brand associated with this shit, rape and bullying.
Marketers now realise that reach is not what it’s all about. Kyle and Jackie O will die a slow death as marketers walk away.

I must be turning into my parents as nothing about this as a concept was ever funny or entertaining. Similar to Brand and Ross in the UK – overpaid talent used to getting its own way leads to management losing perspective and controls being compromised. If you play the scenario back how did it ever get to air. Ad revenue should not trump good editorial / producer judgment particularly when kids are involved.

i don’t know why i’m surprised – but of course, pond scum floats

@Adam – it’s easy to go out on a limb when you’re sitting in a tree… It’s time for these baboons to face extinction.
The fact that a sacrificial producer wasn’t found is a pretty fair indication that management had prior knowledge about the stunt.

Seriously I want to know something, are the complaints about Kyle’s personality or the fact that a teenage girl was asked questions about her private life? I am quite confused. Anyone who regulary listens to the show will know that the lie detector segment has happened so many times before this incident. There have been relationship cheats caught out and there has been even a teenage boy who was asked about the same questions, drugs and sex by his mother for which he admitted to them in the same show not long back. I wonder where did all the complainers go then? On another segment, in the same show called ‘Intervention’ when a sis in law put her bro’s wife in the show and asked about her drinking habits for which she refused any issues inspite of her own teenage daughter admitting to the state which the children were put through and cried out for help. Where did all the complainers go inspite of teenage suicide on the rise?
For those who think the world is devoid of issues open your eyes. I will be the first person to admit that Kyle is an arrogant bully but do you know why he is like that? It is because of us. The people. As shakespeare said the world is a stage and all people are actors who wears masks. Stop judging people on face value. The same people who vote for Idol vote for government elections too.Think about it. If you want to watch or listen to happy stories stick to your nursery stories where everything has a happy ending. This is life deal with the issues rather than hiding about it.
I hope the complainers, complained to the police as well to ask why they haven’t caught the rapist as yet? Deal with the real issue then deal with the people who talked about it. For those who think there shouldn’t be public discussions on teenage sex, please tell me how on earth you are going to bring awareness of teenage pregnancy. Just wiki and you will know what the real issue is. Teenage are doing things which they are not supposed to be doing. There are criminals freely walking in the street who have abused teenagers. Who is going to fix this if you want to turn a blind eye to it?
We all should know and be aware of the real issues that surround us. The police alone or the victims alone cannot make a change. As a society we have to make a change.
Remember one thing if there was peace in this world do you know who will be the biggest losers? Yes you are right us. First the media will be affected as they wouldn’t have nothing to report on, governments will be affected because they dont get tax from arms, alcohol and cigarettes and so in turn we will be affected. The world runs in this balance. There is short there is tall, fat skinny, rich poor, good bad.
One last thing, whether people listened to the show or not there are more people who listened to the recorded version put in the media weblinks. So if any one is accusing of the show being telecast has to accuse each and every media link that telecasted the link too
User ID not verified.
@Jay. The media reports the news. This was news. They reported it.
Andrew Bolt has a pretty full on attack article at Austereo today. Probably the only time I’ve ever agreed with him.
User ID not verified.
so what you are saying is instead of Kyle, if Jeoff the newsreader in his news bulletin had interviewed the same girl and asked about her private life, then it would have been fine?. I wonder why the media never reports all the good things that happen. The same kyle and Jackie o show have given so much to deserving people in their heartless hotline segment and other segments. Now is that news? why can’t I see links in the media about them?
Media will exploit every horrible thing which happens in this world. Otherwise they can’t exist. They need bad things to happen. I am not saying that they enjoy in bring us the bad news but that is their business.
Also about your media reporting news, just because you have a cctv footage of a rape, do you think it is ethical to just mask the peoples face and replay the footage in every news? I dont mind media reporting the news but why is there a need to replay the incident again and again? I am talking about the actual recording of the segment which was put up on websites and even re-enacted in TV shows.
Even if 2 million people had listened to the show and got affected by what happened there are much more who got affected after through the media replays of the segment.

“Media will exploit every horrible thing which happens in this world. Otherwise they can’t exist. They need bad things to happen”
Jay, there is a major difference between reporting on a car accident and creating your own for the sake of entertainment. The fact that you’re being so stubborn about this suggests to me that you’re more then just a fan of Kyle & Jackie O.
There’s nothing positive about having a “lie detector” segment on radio show. It was pure exploitation of human misery for entertainment. The fact that it backfired showed it for the stupid segment it was.
User ID not verified.
Jay – You yourself seem to be conflicted with the issue. You try to justify the offending stunt by comparing it to other, just as horrific segments. You even admit Kyle is an “arrogant bully” – which he is, but not because of us as you state, but by his own choosing. Should we give bullies like Kyle a platform like radio to intimidate and harass people? No.
The simple fact is the The Kyle and Jackie O show represents everything in Australian media that the general public have had enough of – it is mean, exploitative, arrogant and tacky. Yes there are other broadcasters and shows out there that are just as bad, but this is the one that has copped all the flack. While that seems unfair, the management at Austereo knew the risk and when you play Russian Roulette long enough eventually you’re going to lose.
Can you give us one example of an Australian broadcaster screening CCTV footage of a rape? No, I didn’t think so.
As for all their generous deeds of goodwill, “giving so much to deserving people”, I’m sorry but I just laughed at that one. There seems to be a concerted effort, almost an organised campaign, to turn this around by declaring K & JO saints. Handing out charity to people after they’ve been humiliated and demoralised for entertainment doesn’t sound very noble to me.
They need to go.

May I suggest people call their “openline” on 131060 on Tuesday morning and ask to be put on-air to complain about what they did.
It will be interesting to see if the callers are screebned again, and it becomes a love-in.
User ID not verified.
There will be no open line next week. I would bet my life only carefully selected regulars/friends make it to air.
Kyle will read out a statement, saying nothing really at all. Talk will move to the overwhelming support from “you guys.” Expect tears, lots of them. After all, they are only human. Different human of course. Their tears are more REAL than yours. Kyle’s wife will come on. More tears.
I mean really. Enfant Terrible. I think not. What they should really do is lie detector segments, back to back, with everyone incl. all sports stars charged with rape, then Alan Bond, maybe those other people who thought they were smartest guy in the room, EnronI
I’d like to suggest another game they should have as well – the trick Kyle and Jackie O game – where in a Chaser like fashion listeners wisen up to the crap content to go through the ranks of producers, Kyle and Jackie O, the station to get LIVE ON AIR and HAVE SOME FUN … I see you and your 7 second delay KJo!
Now that would be compelling radio.

Disappointed that these two cretins are back on the air, but I’m hoping that the sensible folk of Australia will vote by turning to another station while their un-funny and un-creative pathetic excuse for a show is on air.
Please Australia, don’t let me down!

All you people complaining about the show being back, If you dont want to listen to the show.. then DON’T! nobody is forcing you to listen.. if you want to listen to a lovey-dovey show then turn your radio on something else, theres a reason why the Kyle and Jackie O’ show is as popular as it is and that is because there are REAL people out there who lives in a REAL world and likes to listen to REAL issues. If you want to keep living in your little fantasy land then you are free to do so, the fact of the matter is that most of the complainers are the ones who already hated the show even before the incident or hated Kyle either from Idol or from somewhere else. All these haters are just using this opportunity to magnify their hatred towards the show or Kyle. Well GROW UP and go cry somewhere else because the show is coming back whether you like or not and the fact that the show is getting this much complaints will only mean more people, not just the regualr listeners, will tune in to hear what these two have got to say every morning. Ratings will go up and popularity will only rise. At the end of it all, All you’re doing is helping the show to go back on track and pick up where they left off so i say Thank you and long live the Kyle and Jacki O’ show!

@Lawrence. I sure hope you don’t have kids.
Yes, there are real issues and real people who need help with them, but not from Kyle & Jackie-O. People who are compelled to air any issue on a show like theirs, in my opinion are either a) in serious need of help, b) neurotic or c) psychotic.
This is a discussion forum, where people are supposed to have opinions and express them, irrespective of whether they think Kyle & Jackie-) should be gilded in gold or boiled in oil. Sadly, even you are entitled to your opinion.
Bless the internet.

Thank you for the feedback on my comments. I can assure you that I have no affiliation to Kyle and Jackie o show or 2dayfm or any other media I am purely playing devil’s advocate here. For any incident you have to consider the motive, the action itself and the outcome. If the motive was to exploit the young for pure entertainment and they carried out the segment and staged a stunt then the outcome is that Kyle lost his million dollar contract and 2day fm lost its big sponsors. So i am wondering were they dumb enough to cause their downfall.

What a sad pack of people. It shows how disconnected you all are from the real world. The more you live your lives on blogs and social networking. The more you loose touch with what happens in the real world.
People need to talk about these issues, but people who live their lives in front of social networking, running a marketing company will NEVER understand the value of this very important dialogue Kyle and Jackie O are having with the disadvantaged. And you continually fail to see the full picture.
Get out from in front of the computer and see the real world and real conversations people are having. You call yourselves “intelligent” but by reading your comments it shows you have no idea.

Also when I was 14 I listened “Dr Feelgood” on Austereo… that show was about teens talking about their sex lives? Where are your comments about that?
It’s because everyone in media is jealous about someone who has a better business model and earns much more than them.
User ID not verified.
“Bob” obviously can’t tell the difference between someone willingly and anonymously discussing their sex life on a talkback show, and someone being bullied and co-erced into it by her mother and creepy ratings-seekers. “Bob” also clearly can’t imagine that some people might actually think that what Sandilands and Henderson did is incredibly abusive – he wants to attribute everyone’s anger to jealousy.
That’s how bullies and the enablers of bullies act – accuse everyone of having the same brutal and self-seeking morals that they have themselves. That way they can try and drag everyone down to their level, and ignore the fact that not everyone is as full of hate as they are.
And as far as Sandliand’s and Henderson’s show being an “important dialogue with the disadvantaged”, as opposed to a cheap attempt to exploit people’s unhappiness for the titillation of others – well that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard yet from anyone trying to justify the behaviour of those two.

Bob, it would be a little easier to stomach the generous deeds of Saint Kyle and Mother O if they didn’t have to strap people to lies detectors, make them roll around naked in jelly, or even piss in a bucket for concert tickets. If that’s your idea of the real world, then I feel very sorry for you.
There have been many television and radio programs dealing with teen sexuality over the years, Dr Feelgood being just one of them, but none of them humiliate and shame their subjects for others entertainment which is the style of K & JO.
They are pathetic and talentless – something the whole rape debacle proved in spades, and they shouldn’t be left anywhere near an open microphone.

After reading everyone’s comments, it seems that many people are mis-informed and have no idea on what happens in the real world. It also appears that not a lot of people here actually listen to the show regularly either. Kyle and Jackie O have the higest rating show in Sydney for breakfast. Why? people love listening to them. It is real life, and if you want to listen to a scripted show that is plain and boring, then feel free to tune out, but I know I won’t!
One blogger here said they did good things for people out of the missery of others, but again, this is slightly misguided. What about all those people that have rung in, with nowhere else to turn in their minds and Kyle and Jackie O have helped out? Kyle has spent thousands of his own money to help these people. The lie detector only brings to light that there are people out there with problems and sometimes kids who are problem kids. Some parents feel they have no where to turn and they trun to shows such as this.
The other fact that people seem to be forgetting is this. Why the hell would any self respecting mother place her 14 year old daughter in that situation full well knowing that her daughter had been raped? Maybe she should be taking a parenting class.
The media in my mind has blown all this out of proportion, and many people with “educated” opinions have not even all the facts. Remember people, whist people like and want this style of radio, there will be shows that cater to them, and when people decide that they don’t want to listen to these shows, then they will cease to exist, but until then, if you don’t like it, use your brain and turn it off!

Adam Paul, the real worl isn’t all fairy tales and lolly pops. There are wars, death and people die of cancer and teens are running around taking drugs and doing things they shouldn’t. The new TV show, worlds strictest parents highlights this fact. True, this show teaches the teens good values and helps them, and this is what Kyle and Jackie O do. Yes, they do it in a way that may not be as ‘nice’, but it still aims to do that same thing – bring awareness of the issues facing people and parents today. I’ll state my last point again, if you don’t like it, don’t listen or watch or read. People seem to forget that they have a little thing called judgement that they need to use now and again. Big Brother uncut was an example of this. People were complaining about the content, how sexually explicit it was, and degrading to women, but the point it. It was rated MA, shown after 9:30pm at night and had view warnings up front. How dumb do you have to be to watch the show if you know you’re not going to like it? Let the people who like it watch it, and in Kyle and Jackie O’s case, listen to it, and if you don’t like it, then don’t.
AND if you want to ignore the world around you, and live in a bubble where everything is roses, then good on you. But sadly this isn’t the case for most people.
oh, and paul, not embarressed by my views, my real name is Sam. I just get sick of people sitting on high horses, not using their brains and judgement. I realise I may have got off the topic of Kyle and Jackie O, but peope are on here talking about a bigger issue.

Sam, stop it, you’re cracking us up.
Saint Kyle the educator?! Too funny.
And what on Earth does wars, death and cancer got to do with this?
As for your Big Brother comparison, BB was also a vile little show that public outrage also helped push off the air, but it at least was shown late at night with, as you point out, a viewer discretion warning. Parents have no such luxury with K & JO which is broadcast on weekday mornings with 10 year olds being a major part of their demographic – Kyle admitted as much with the interview with Denton and as the ratings breakdown shows.
They use PUBLIC airways to distribute their crap, so I’m afraid the “if you don’t like it don’t listen” rule doesn’t apply here. There’s an audience for everything, that doesn’t mean it should be broadcast.

@ Sam
Are you saying that the measure of whether something is ethical or acceptable is people’s inclination to listen to it on the radio?
If the segment in question were merely crass, I would be happy with the “if you don’t like it, don’t listen” solution. The reason that I, and many others, take issue with 2Day FM’s actions is that a 14 year old girl was put in the position of being pressured to talk about her sex life on public radio. The question of whether she was raped is largely irrelevant. The issue is that a person with little bargaining power was publicly humiliated for no other reason than the titillation of listeners.
And while I consider the actions of the girl’s mother just as reprehensible, the fact that she she arranged for her daughter to take part in the segment does not excuse the actions of the staff at 2Day FM who allowed it to go ahead. The fact is that parents sometimes abuse their children. This does not absolve the rest of us from speaking up when we see it happen, and it certainly does not make it OK for us to join in.

@ Bob, quote “Also when I was 14 I listened “Dr Feelgood” on Austereo… that show was about teens talking about their sex lives? Where are your comments about that?”
Bob, Dr Feelgood is a 20-year qualified Medical Practitioner, with credentials in medicine and journalism. She doesn’t use lie detectors or swimming pools filled with honey to interview or humiliate callers to her programs.
“Important dialogue?” Like who has the smallest penis in Sydney? Like who at 2DAY has the highest sperm count? The show appeals to juveniles and the juvenile, nothing better.
Interviewing a 14yo girl AGAINST HER WILL about her sex life was wrong, and downright dangerous. But the reason so many people are upset is because the show is CONSISTENTLY tawdry and damaging, not just with this incident.

Hey the last Jay is not me. Anyways for Adam who mentioned “but none of them humiliate and shame their subjects for others entertainment which is the style of K & JO.”
I wonder if you watch TV because Reality TV is ruling the screens. I am not sure if you understand that these shows thrive on ratings received by publicly humiliating or bullying their participants. Funny enough Australian idol kicked Kyle off the show reasoning that it is a family show. Do families love to watch the auditions where contestants are shown to publically humiliate themselves and then get commented upon? Last week dancing with the stars judges got high and mighty about a participant trying to clarify a dance routine. Now isnt that bullying and every one talks about it and that is exactly what they want- publicity. Is big fat loser is only about motivating people to lose weight? I dont think so. If you think A current affair, today tonight is any better just look at their broad cast breaches so far.
With TV shows like Sex and the city, desperate housewives, californication sex is glorified to the maximum and so popular and dont tell me young kids wont get to watch it just because there is a rating and warning for it.
Any sort of entertaintment comes at a cost. It could either be self deprecating humour right from charlie chaplin, laurel and hardy, three stoges to hamish and Andy or by bullying others like kyle and jackie o or merrick and rosso. But the fact as some one else said there is an audience for everything. If you want every channel to be like BBC and CNN it is not possible and also would we prefer it?
Any media will bring what people want. They are not dumb to reject people’s voice or wants and put an end to their profits. Blame the culture which encourages such shows. Blame us first.
Many in these comments have saif if you don’t like the show then don’t watch it. The truth is even if you or me stop listening to the show there will be several others who will and thats society for you. The only way to get rid of the filth is the society as a whole to reject what is not right. Can you try teaching manufacturers from making smoke products? Can you teach stores to stop selling smoke products? Can you tell the government to stop companies from selling smoke products? It is never going to happen. All they and we can do is advise the society not to smoke. Those who listen good on them those who dont a shame. At the end of the day you may succeed at ridding kyle and Jackie o but u cant stop someone else doing the same.

Jay’s latest comment is full of the usual sort of stuff peddled by reactionaries – assertions that society will NEVER get better and will NEVER change.
Can’t you just hear the same sort of person sneering throughout the centuries?
“We Romans have ALWAYS enjoyed watching people fight to the death for our pleasure”.
“We Americans have ALWAYS kept slaves”.
“We men have ALWAYS not let women vote”.
No matter what sort of example Jay comes up with to make the issue seem difficult, it’s fairly clear to most of the commenters here that forcing a 14-year-old to talk about their sex life for public entertainment is wrong. Yes, “The Biggest Loser” is full of manipulative rubbish, like granting immunity from the weekly elimination to the contestant who eats the most junk food. Does that make what Sandilands and Henderson did OK? No, it doesn’t.
It’s interesting that several of my friends who don’t normally watch reality TV enjoyed Masterchef, in part because the usual manipulation wasn’t a big part of the show: it focussed on skill and challenge, not on creating conflict. Perhaps that’s a demonstration that TV that challenges the bullying style can win ratings. If so, that’s a sign that maybe Sandliands and Henderson CAN be defeated where it counts – in battle for public opinion.
I ask again the question I asked in the first comment on this thread – does anyone have any ideas for entertainment that could take away listeners from shows like Sandiland’s and Henderson’s, without appealing to nastiness?
User ID not verified.
I will agree that Masterchief was different because it had no show audience and also no people voted in the show. I loved Masterchef because I love cooking and there is no other similar show like that in Australia. It was unique but again ‘Masterchef, in part because the usual manipulation wasn’t a big part of the show’ Hmm I wonder how Chris who was so consistent in the competition got kicked out in the penultimate round. Is it because the lady judge who came and said his style of cooking will only attract a niche market and there will be no book sales? whereas Julie who didnt even complete her presentation got the thumbs up in that round because she had a nice idea for a book and was a big selling point. At that round itself the finals were decided. Po would lose regardless of her performance because her book idea was just too silly ‘food from mars’ If u watched the finale, at the start you will hear Matt say that what they were looking for is someone who will return value and who else would it be that Julie with a fantastic idea which will promote book sales. For just 100 thousand dollars the publishing company will make millions. If you tell me the show was not manipulative think again. It is all commercialised and predetermined
And for ideas of good entertainment
a) lets make a reality show where participants randomly pick suburbs and be amateur vigilantes to reduce crime in those areas. whoever stops the most crime will be the winner.
b) What about a reality show where the people compete with their artistic skills say painting, skulpting etc. We could have a spin off too with celebs doing a show. The art could then be auctioned off to raise money for charity
c) A reality show where our army in Iraq or Afghanistan are shown what they go through every day
d) We could have groups debating about real life topics and the winning group can then have a question hour with the ruling party in a private parliament kind of setting
If any media producers are interested i can elaborate or provide more ideas.

For the record having worked on air in Sydney for over 15 years, all my colleagues who work in radio cannot stand Sandilands, (Even people in Radio hate this guy) if you read the most recent reports you will see what a scumbag this lowlife is. JO started as a phone bitch for Phil O’Neil aka Ugly Phil, she is considered a NO TALENT.
You cant really expect Austereo to do much, they have a vested interest.. NO wonder Radio has gone down the toilet in Australia ever since Roadshow (owners of Austereo) bought the Triple M network….ultimately creating a huge monopoly…. Radio in Australia is full of second rate B grade celebs… !!
