Fintech startup, Superhero launches first major brand TVC
Fintech trading platform Superhero has launched its first brand TVC, ‘The Floor Is Yours’.
The new campaign comes via independent agency Hardhat, which aims to showcase the flexibility, easy and affordability of investing through the Superhero platform.
Cutting a path through a chaotic trading floor, the ‘Hero’, “representing the next generation of confident and savvy investors”, opposed to the past out-out-date and unorganised practices.
John Winters, Superhero co-founder and CEO said: “We’re excited to see the public’s reaction to this campaign, which encapsulates Superhero’s mission to make investing accessible, understandable and affordable for all Aussies – from first-time traders through to experienced investors.”
Superhero is a start-up investing app, the company stating it’s goal “is to make investing accessible and understandable for everyone – no matter if you’re a seasoned trader or buying your first stock”.
The TVC was director by Josh Logue from production company Sherpa, and will debut this evening (4 June) during Channel 7’s AFL broadcast of the Melbourne Demons vs Brisbane Lions.
It will thereafter air during each broadcasted game until the Grand Final, also receiving coverage across digital and social channels, as well as catch-up and regional TV.
Hardhat executive creative director, Glenn Dalton adds: “Last year we supported Superhero with an extensive outdoor and online campaign that included cheeky taglines such as, ‘We’re giving trading a kick up the ASX’ and ‘Get your fair shares’. Moving the campaign to film, it was important to build on our established tone of voice and give Superhero a distinct visual look that sets it apart from traditional investment platforms.”
This campaign adds to other recent Hardhat activity, including hiring creative talent in March, and last year being appointed the creative agency of record for Vision Australia.
Other Hardhat clients include Afterpay, Simply Energy, Kogan.com, Baiada, Bupa, Bega Dairy and Drinks and Victoria University.
