Go behind the scenes of Gruen at Mumbrella MSIX, plus the Behavioural Insights Team MD confirmed to speak

Industry experts formerly featured on popular ABC series Gruen will join Adam Ferrier on stage at Mumbrella MSIX.

They will reveal what they have learnt from the series and let audience members grill them on their experiences.

Howcroft will join the Gruen panel at Mumbrella MSIX

PwC’s Russel Howcroft, VMLY&R’s Alison Tilling, Four Pillar’s founder Stuart Gregor and consulting creative director Karen Ferry will go into detail about what they have taken from the series and how it has changed the way they think about their work and the industry.

Using the ‘empty chair’ technique, the MSIX audience will also be able to take it in turns appearing on the panel to ask pointed questions to the industry experts.

Dr Rory Gallagher, managing director of Australia and Asia-Pacific at Behavioural Insights Team, will also join the conference to reveal whether behavioural insights are now just low hanging fruit.

While behavioural insights have steadily been building on the easy wins of their early days, Dr Gallagher will argue that they are now being used to tackle increasingly complex challenges in nuanced spaces.

He will unpack the lessons to be learned from past successes and failures, and discuss where the industry should go from here.

QUT’s Gayle Kerr will discuss the unknown bonus effective of creative advertising

The new speakers join an already significant line up that features Ben Welsh, chief creative officer at DDB, Dan Monheit, co-founder and strategy director at Hardhat, Professor Gayle Kerr of the School of Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations at the Queensland University of Technology, Mutiny founder Henry Innis and many more.

Mumbrella MSIX takes place on February 20 at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney with tickets on sale now.
