Steven Popovich joins The Pool Collective

The Pool Collective has announced Steven Popovich as the newest addition to the creative hub.

The announcement:

The Pool Collective announces rising talent Steven Popovich as the newest addition to the creative hub. Due to the unique collaborative nature of Pool, it is a rare occasion that the collective invites another artist to come onboard. Co-founders Sean Izzard and Simon Harsent established Pool with the intention of supporting fresh talent and like-minded creatives who wish to produce the very best work.

Popovich was a natural choice due not only to his outstanding ability as a photographer, but because of his association with the group over a number of years. He brings with him a wealth of technical expertise and the ability to do his own post production and these skills paired with a keen eye for visual beauty have already made him known in the beauty and fashion scenes. Popovich initially started his career in the creative worlds of design, print, packaging, and retouching before turning his attention to photography.

“We see Pops as one of the best young talents in the industry, he’s one of the most over qualified photographers I know and he always wants to learn more,” says Managing Director, Cameron Gray. “It’s this genuine love for what he does, and the drive to continually create better work that makes him the perfect fit for Pool.”

Popovich will be the seventh member of The Pool Collective, joining the ranks of award-winning artists Danny Eastwood, Simon Harsent, Christopher Ireland, Sean Izzard, Ingvar Kenne and Juliet Taylor.

Established in 2008, The Pool Collective work in the realms of photography and motion content, seeking to develop creative partnerships with other artists both commercially and privately, and to foster mutually beneficial relationships with brands, organisations, clients and agencies both domestically and internationally.
