T3 releases first ipad edition
Technology magazine T3 has launched its first ipad edition on the Apple Newsstand.
Australian T3, Australia’s favourite tech magazine, has released its first fully interactive iPad issue onto the Apple Newsstand.
Fully retina display enabled to take advantage of the razor-sharp image quality on the new iPad, the monthly edition contains a raft of interactive features in addition to the standard print-replica edition for iPhone.
These include animated intros, 360º product views, additional picture galleries, full-screen videos and sharable text. The Australian T3 Interactive Edition was created by the Sydney based Future team using its own proprietary software, FutureFolio. FutureFolio is an Apple-approved wrapper for digital products on the Newsstand, which opens up new opportunities and channels for the digital publication market as well as advertisers.
The James Bond-themed issue features all the kit the world’s most famous spy could need, as well as a bona fide Bond girl on the cover. Rob Edwards, Editor of Australian T3, says: “The Australian T3 Interactive iPad Edition offers our readers an opportunity to engage with the Australian T3 experience like never before. It’s fitting to see Australia’s favourite tech magazine embracing all that a digital edition can offer, with full-screen videos, interactive features and additional content delivered to our audience of passionate tech enthusiasts.”
Neville Daniels, COO of Future Publishing Australia, says: “This first fully interactive issue of Australian T3 is the product of some great work by our Sydney based team. It’s the perfect magazine to demonstrate our digital credentials and our tech savvy readers will have a lot of fun exploring the issue. It also presents interesting new opportunities for advertisers to engage
with consumers.”With over 70 titles available to purchase on Apple’s Newsstand, the Future group is a world leader in tablet publishing and has more digital editions available globally for iPads and iPhones than any other publisher.
