Masterchef Beverly Hills elimination dominates Thursday night
Last night’s Masterchef elimination in Beverly Hills, California, drew 970,000 viewers as the program moves towards finals week next week.
The result came on an otherwise quiet Thursday night, with RBT on Nine drawing just 547,000 while Seven’s audience was split with an hour of Home and Away drawing 432,000 in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, as the AFL game between Hawthorn and Sydney drew 483,000 in Melbourne and Adelaide.
In news, Seven News narrowly beat Nine with its 6:00pm bulletin achieving 1.024m to Nine’s 1.018m, while Nine won the 6:30pm bulletin, reaching 1.007m compared with 843,000 for Seven.
In main channel audience share Seven won the night with 19.5%, while Nine and Ten tied with 16.6%, and the ABC achieved 10.7%.
How did Channel 7 in Sydney rate with the program on the city’s new north-west rail link? It is interesting to see a prime time show made solely for one market.
