This Time Next Year pulls its lowest audience yet with 764,000
Karl Stefanovic’s This Time Next Year, airing on Nine at 8.40pm, pulled its lowest audience to date with 764,000 metro viewers.
Despite having its lowest audience number, the program still managed to top its timeslot and beat Ten’s 668,000 for Have You Been Paying Attention.
According to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro date Seven’s Diana, 7 Days – which aired at 8.45pm – managed an audience of 467,000, finishing 19th on the ratings ladder.
Nine’s renovation series The Block topped the ratings leaderboard as 1.101m metro viewers tuned in to watch.
The Block, which aired at 7.30pm, was the most watched program in key advertising demographics 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.
Competing against The Block, Ten’s Australian Survivor managed 575,000 viewers topping Seven’s Hell’s Kitchen which attracted a metro audience of 546,000.
In the news battle for the evening Nine News at 6.30pm was the second most watched program for the evening with a metro audience of 1.067m.
Meanwhile, Seven News/ Today Tonight grabbed 1.007m.
At 6pm Seven News saw 1.063m tune in ahead of Nine News’ 1.031m.
Winning the night was Nine with an overall audience share of 22.9% ahead of Seven’s 17.8% and ABC’s 13.22 share.
Ten attracted a 12.2% share and only managed to top SBS’ 5.3% share.
Please 10 you are in enough trouble corporately the project extension to 6 nights is going to kill a great franchise. Sunday numbers were indicative of killing the goose and the odds are it will impact the Monday – Friday shows. The programming person who made this decision better hope this is not the case.
