Chris Kenny returns to Sky News with Sunday evening panel show
Sky News has revamped its Sunday Night line up with Chris Kenny to return to the network and Paul Murray to extend his program to the evening.
Kenny, who hosted the Viewpoint program for two years until it was wound up at the end of last year, will lead a new 7.00pm panel show starting from Sunday this week with Paul Murray Live following two hours later.
“I’m excited to be returning to Sky News,” Kenny said in a media statement. “I’m planning to welcome again some of my favourite guests and also new talent, providing viewers with the very best in news and views.
“While most of us relax with family and friends on Sundays, the Sabbath is crucial for newsmakers. The polls are published, the politicians head back to Canberra and it’s a day for major announcements, set piece interviews and setting the agenda for the week ahead.”
Angelos Frangopoulos, CEO Australian News Channel added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Chris Kenny back to the Sky News line-up and to see Paul Murray bring his unstoppable program to Sunday evenings. Sunday nights on Sky News will be dynamic, informative and must-watch viewing.”
And he will remain largely unwatched.
