Creative agency Red Engine SCC enters administration
Red Engine SCC has appointed an administrator, which has put the creative agency up for sale and is tasked with determining its viability.
Worrells Solvency & Forensic Accountants has been brought in to review the information provided by creditors while the agency continues to operate until a decision is made.
A published notice on the ASIC website outlines that Worrells Solvency & Forensic Accountants was appointed on 27 March and the first meeting of the creditors of the company occurred on 7 April.
Worrells Solvency & Forensic Accountants told Mumbrella in a statement that the business has been advertised for sale.
“Worrells Sydney Partner Christopher Darin was appointed as Voluntary Administrator on 3 April to review the company’s financial position and options available. The company’s business has been advertised for sale and the administrator is also in the process of exploring avenues for a Deed of Company Arrangement with the director. Any party wishing to register their interest in the business is requested to contact administrators on 02 9249 1200,” the statement said.
Red Engine was founded in 2012 by Julian Townley. Seven months ago the agency acquired production company Sixty Four Films.
Last year the agency created a responsible drinking campaign in partnership with the NRL and Bundaberg Rum, that ran throughout the finals series.
The agency also worked with Princess Cruises, Nimble, Gatorade, Rest, Telstra and Pepsi Max.
