Simon Hopkins leaves ACP for Brandtology
Simon Hopkins, the national group sales manager of ACP Magazines digital sales, has moved to Sentia Media – formerly known as Media Monitors – as commercial director of social media monitoring platform Brandtology.
Hopkins will run the sales operation for both Australia and New Zealand.
Sentia Media’s Gregg Amies, CEO, ANZ, said: “I’m delighted Simon has joined us at Brandtology. In addition to his high profile within the wider industry, his impressive background as both a media sales manager and respected online and social media consultant across all digital platforms brings a new and potentially significant stream of business opportunities for our products.”
Hopkins career includes stints as Sydney sales manager of digital media at Ten and head of media sales at Ministry of Sound in London, as well as strategy roles at creative agencies DDB, Leo Burnett and Clemenger BBDO. He has also worked at Seven, Fairfax and Win Television.
Sentia Media acquired Brandtology in February last year. It was the company’s first acquisition since being acquired by Quadrant in July 2010,
