303 MullenLowe combines with MullenLowe Mediahub in Australia as Livingston takes charge
Five months after recruiting Andrew Livingston as chief media officer, 303 MullenLowe is bringing the group’s global media agency, MullenLowe Mediahub in house as it works to improve its full-service offering.
Livingston returned to Australian in January to take on the role, having formerly been the CEO of Initiative Group in Australia, and will head the newly combined operation which will operate out of 303’s premises in Sydney and Perth, relocating from its base in MullenLowe Profero.
303 MullenLowe CEO Nick Cleaver said that the decision to combine operations with Mediahub was the next logical step as the agency grew.
“Over the past 18 months we have grown our client base, launched a Media Sciences team delivering programmatic media and performance analytics, and welcomed Andrew Livingston to lead our media team nationally,” Cleaver said.
“Bringing the MullenLowe Group’s media resources together represents the next natural step in our journey, enabling a bigger media footprint, a wider set of clients and enhanced access to a global network of media resources and talent.”
Phil Ely, head of media, will assume the newly created role of head of communications and planning.
The full service agency’s clients will include globally aligned business such as Netflix, Western Union, CFA and Nutricia, joining with 303 MullenLowe’s existing media roster, which includes TK Maxx, Harley-Davidson, Fujitsu Australia, Edith Cowen University and Braintree.
Livingston said the decision the build a more integrated offering was crucial.
“Partnering with one of the world’s most creative media agencies will cement our status as a truly hyper-bundled shop here in Australia,” Livingston said.
“Our clients will benefit from a global media toolkit, an expanded local team, continued access to 303 MullenLowe’s creative, digital, social and PR teams, and MullenLowe Profero’s digital transformation capabilities.”
Hi Simon, would be good if Mumbrella does some sub-editing as do not want to see it go the way of Fairfax with increasing grammar and spelling issues. Here is an example from this particular post: “Livingston said the decision the build a more integrated off was crucial”.
