Alistair McCall joins MercerBell as data strategy director
Formerly head of customer management at Woolworths Group, Alistair McCall, has joined MercerBell as its data strategy director.
The customer experience agency, MercerBell, has also hired Sophia Zhou as a senior data analyst.
McCall joins MercerBell after his six year stint at Woolworths as its head of customer group while Zhou joins the agency from BNZ in New Zealand.
Julie Dormand, managing director at MercerBell, said in a statement: “While MercerBell has data in our DNA, the wealth of expertise that Alistair and Sophia bring to the team means that we are absolutely on the leading edge of new technologies and advanced data analytics.
“Our clients such as Toyota are already excited about the transformational power of data on their customer relationships, and are engaging with Alistair and the team to identify new opportunities that are revealed from predictive modelling, artificial intelligence and machine learning.”
The two new appointments come four months after the agency launched an editorial division led by Gary Andrews.
In September last year, MercerBell opened its doors in Melbourne to service its long standing client Toyota.
