The Ideas Business and a live Mumbrellacast recording set the final program for Mumbrella Audioland
The Ideas Business’ Wade Kingsley and Mumbrella’s podcast, Mumbrellacast, have rounded out the program for Mumbrella Audioland, set to take place on May 2 in Sydney.
Kingsley, the founder of The Ideas Business, will present a detailed session around brand integration in audio and best practice examples.
He’ll take delegates on a trip around the world to highlight the best examples and illustrate how they can provide practical help rather than remain as out-of-reach ideas.
The Ideas Business has previously worked with SBS, NEC, SCA, Port Adelaide Football Club and more.
Meanwhile, Mumbrella’s podcast, Mumbrellacast, will be recorded live at Audioland during one of the sessions.
Led by the Mumbrella editorial team and with industry leaders joining the show, Mumbrellacast now attracts around 5,000 subscribers.
It was relaunched in May last year after a six-year break and has been attracting significantly more listeners than its first iteration.
Mumbrella Audioland will cover a range of audio industry topics, from radio to podcasts, content creation to media strategy, sound psychology to AI and voice and much more.
Speakers already confirmed to appear include:
- Venessa Hunt, digital strategy and investment officer, Group M
- Fayad Tohme, chief digital officer, Nova Entertainment
- Ben Rolleston, head of business development, Amazon Alexa
- Joan Warner, CEO, Commercial Radio Australia
- Brian Gallagher, chief sales officer, SCA
- Grant Blackley, CEO and MD, Southern Cross Austereo
- Cassie Gilbert, director of sales ANZ, Spotify
Edison research president, New York-based Larry Rosin, will fly into Sydney to deliver the keynote on The Infinite Dial research.
Mumbrella Audioland takes place on May 2 at the Amora Hotel Jamison in Sydney. Ticket are on sale now.

First time on Mumbrella and I have to say that Mumbrella is a funny name. Anyway, that trip around the world that Kingsley promises sounds good.
