Fleishman Hillard announces Recovery and Resurgence practice to help clients plan for the future
Communications agency Fleishman Hillard has announced a new business practice, Recovery and Resurgence, to provide communications expertise to clients as they plan for the shifting business and social environment, and the return to operations in the future.
Jenna Orme, general manager of Fleishman Hillard in Australia and New Zealand, said “Recovery is a process, not an event.”
“Many of our clients are already focused on rebuilding. They are developing a vision for their resurgence in an environment that is going to look very different during the remainder of this year and into 2021. The definition of success cannot be a return to normal,” she said.
The new practice will draw on Fleishman Hillard’s experience in complex crisis communications and working with large-scale organisations. Orme will lead the practice locally.
Recovery and Resurgence will cover all disciplines, including employee relations, operations, customer service, marketing, finance and government affairs.
A statement from Fleishman Hillard said “strong relationships, meaningful actions, credible resources and clear communications are the necessary tools for resurgence”.
I’m sure there’s really meaty capability and IP behind this, and that they’re just keeping their cards close to their corporate chests. Insights, planning frameworks, rigorous process to connect business objectives with stakeholder needs, a focus on aligning internal stakeholders around a meaningful change strategy.
No way would this be a sound-bite led strategy or a superficial rebadging of generic corporate PR and client development planning that should be happening anyway across agency capability areas.
No PR firm would do that.
Right?
