Teamgage hires Claudia Peixoto to lead its marketing

Software provider Teamgage has hired Claudia Peixoto to lead its new marketing department.

The announcement:

Australian software provider, Teamgage has appointed its first permanent full-time marketing professional: Claudia Peixoto. Claudia brings with her a wealth of experience both here in Australia and overseas and will be heading up the new marketing department to support the organisation’s growth in new and existing markets.

Teamgage was founded in Adelaide in 2016 by Ben and Noelle Smit, and provides software which gathers employee feedback and guides organisations and their teams to improve. It has worked with clients including Telstra, Westpac and The University of Canberra, to help them to drive their own improvements from the ground up through its bespoke online platform. Teamgage has seen increased demand since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic as many organisations look to gather informed insight into any issues or concerns teams may be experiencing during this uncertain period, many of whom will be working remotely.

Having worked in marketing for 15 years, Claudia has significant experience both in her home country of Brazil and in Australia. She studied for a BA in Communications followed by a Graduate Degree in Marketing in Brazil, then went on to work within a number of marketing roles across sectors including education, retail, telecom, events and technology. On moving to Adelaide in 2015, she took up a number of marketing positions, including at workplace health and safety software provider Rapid, where she oversaw the company’s rebrand and new website.

At Teamgage, Claudia will be responsible for building a marketing department from scratch, reviewing all current systems to establish how best to educate and communicate the brand’s offering to global leaders who want to build high performing teams in their workplace and secure a strong and lasting team culture.

She comments, “The opportunity to join a growing business and be part of such a welcoming, respectful and supportive team who all value what Teamgage is striving towards was too good to pass up! Being part of the innovative Lot Fourteen and Stone and Chalk entrepreneurs’ community is the icing on the cake.

“Teamgage’s priority is to support other organisations to develop a strong, empowered company culture, by giving every employee a voice, and it practices what it preaches. I can’t wait to use my marketing experience in this sector to educate leaders on why they need a system that gathers real time employee feedback, so they can remove risk, and make educated, informed decisions within their organisations. I’m joining at such an exciting time, as the company looks ahead to international expansion, building on the success it has had here in Australia over the past four years”.

Three other members of staff have recently joined Teamgage in its customer success and development teams and two further roles are currently open for applications.

Teamgage has seen its team numbers grow by 50% since moving to the Stone and Chalk, Lot Fourteen innovation precinct in late-2019. In April it was chosen as the recipient of a $350,000. Research, Commercialisation and Startup Fund grant from the State Government to invest in research and development and international expansion.
