Stephen Conroy: An apology
So when Stephen Conroy bleated about News Limited indulging in regime change, Dr Mumbo thought he was being a tad paranoid.
Turns out, they may just be out to get them…
Welcome back, Col Allan. Welcome back.

Conroy’s clearly stoked the bee’s nest over there…. Pretty powerful message too. Whoever wins the Tele’s heartland – western Sydney – will win the election….

This is one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen on print.
Do we really want Australian newspapers to follow the UK and US ones into the gutter ?

Limit Australia’s growth with the NBN in order to protect foxtel? Awesome stuff, Murdoch.

Wow! I’d only seen the parodies on facebook. It’s worse than I thought. I’d be pretty ashamed of myself if I worked there.

“Slogans for bogans” was the way that one commenter eloquently put it in response to an article about this in SMH…

I ended up at a kids’ party at McDonalds yesterday where the only reading was the Sunday Tele – it was like being stuck sitting on a long trip next to a really bitchy, bitter and uninteresting person with no curiosity at even exploring another point of view. Even the social-pages section had come up with their way of pleasing the bosses with some uninteresting, unfunny confection about a diary or something of the “Rudddashians” .
I used to not mind flicking through that paper but yesterday it genuinely felt like some nasty, unenlightening creation by a bunch of not-even-witty school bullies in a grimy back room.
I am truly curious as to whether people/readers beyond the Alan Jones ilk are actually swallowing this level of imbalance. Surely most people’s gag reflexes are still active.

If this wasn’t so serious it would be funny. Clearly identifies the error in cross media ownership. In the ring, Murdoch will crucify Rudd, whether you like it or not!

Murdock should be investigated by a truly independent print media authority, and not a moment too soon.

I do wish Australians had the ability to stop and think :
“Just why would an American Billionaire be so desperate to change the government in the country he left so he could make more money “

so you should apologise, but it isn’t like he was the only one telling you this – its been all over social media for the last few years…

…or, maybe Murdoch has been watching the devastation that Rudd-Gillard-Rudd have wrought over Australia’s position, financial and security, and believes that we can do alot better without Rudd’s brilliant talking and hopeless leadership.

Devastation? What planet are you on? We are the envy of the western world. Get it?

Code of Ethics anyone?

Code of Ethics anyone?…that would be great, and as as somebody already mentioned earlier social media have been saying this for years now, shame it took so long for others to catch on, a real shame indeed

@Turbo
Haha thats hilarious but id love to see the tele’s real code of conduct….what? it was… :0 OMG.

Let’s be honest, Fairfax has a pro-Rudd bent and that’s never been mentioned (or they’re certainly anti-Abbott). Admittedly they do it a tad more tactfully than The Tele…
