House Rules trumps The Voice while 256,000 watch Bosnia and Argentina in World Cup

house rulesSeven’s House Rules has trumped Nine’s The Voice with 1.572m metro viewers tuning in for last night’s reveal episode while The Voice averaged an audience of 1.373m.

House Rules and The Voice were the first and second most watched shows across all demographics, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM.

Ten’s Masterchef was well behind its reality competitors with only 766,000 metro viewers tuning in for an elimination episode which saw three contestants cooking a Marco Pierre White signature dish. Masterchef was the third most watched show across people aged 16 to 39.

Seven won the night with an audience share of 24 cent while Nine was just behind on 23.2 per cent.

Ten managed to achieve a share of 10.4 per cent, behind ABC1’s 12.3 per cent.

In World Cup ratings, the live match between Argentina and Bosnia at 7.30am was watched by 256,000 metro viewers on SBS One.
The first half hour of Seven News won the 6pm battle with a total metro audience of 1.241m with Nine News at 6pm nipping at Seven’s heels with a metro audience of 1.204m.

Seven’s Home and Away was the third most watched non-news program for Monday evening, with 963,000 metro viewers tuning in.

Nine’s House Husbands at 9pm saw 935,000 metro viewers tune in while on Seven What Really Happens in Bali grabbed a metro audience of 806,000. House Husbands was the third most popular show amongst people aged 18 to 49 and people aged 25 to 54.

ABC1’s most watched show was its news bulletin at 7pm which reached a metro audience of 854,000.

Meanwhile, on subscription television, the series finale of Game Of Thrones averaged 181,000 and 110,000 on its two Sghowcase broadcasts.
