Red Engine SCC builds ‘Australia’s smallest cruise ship’ for Carnival cruise

As it prepares to launch its largest ship in home waters, Carnival Australia has released a national campaign featuring a pint-sized replica of the new vessel.

Created by Red Engine SCC, the cruise company has released ‘Little Carnival’, an integrated campaign promoting the arrival of Carnival Splendor to its home port of Sydney in December 2019.

 

Consisting of a number of activations in Sydney featuring the miniature ship, the campaign was aimed to promote the “free-spirited family fun” to be had on Carnival’s cruise liners.

Two accompanying campaign films, one shot in 360 degrees, were also released to promote the launch of the cruise, plus the Brisbane-ported Carnival Spirit.

Red Engine SCC executive creative director Dan Saunders: “Carnival Splendor will be the newest and largest ship based in Australia year-round, but she won’t reach our waters until next year.
