PBL Media has made key promotions in its management teams affecting its magazine, online and broadcast operations.

“Lou will report directly to me in her new senior role and she has the mandate to work directly with the sales directors of each of our key business units including Nine, ACP Magazines, Ninemsn and Ticketek,” Law said.

In two key apppintments in PBL’s magazines business, Phil Scott, publishing director of men’s, specialist and custom has been appointed group publishing director of ACP Magazines.

His new role will mean that in addition to his existing titles he will take on management responsibility for ACP’s consumer portfolio including Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, NW, Grazia, Madison, TV Week, Take 5, Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Cleo, and Good Health.

Scott will report directly to Law.

The change in his role has also led to a restructure of ACP’s sales operations which will now be headed up by Lynette Phillips, previously group publisher and sales director for the women’s lifestyle titles.

Law said: “In her new role as director of sales for ACP Magazines’ consumer and custom titles Lynette will report to Phil Scott. Lynette will also continue to hold publishing responsibility for the ACP Book publishing operations.”
