New magazine on gluten free food launches

Cazbah Media has launched  a new magazine about gluten free food targeting the health diet market.

The release:

Cazbah Media Pty Ltd launches Australian Gluten-Free Life  ‘Australian Gluten-Free Life isn’t about what one can’t eat, but instead celebrating and enjoying life
without gluten’  June, 2014: Cazbah Media Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the official launch of Australian Gluten-Free Life magazine; a publication 100% dedicated to living a gluten-free lifestyle. Launching 5th June and available in newsagents nationally.

Australian Gluten-Free Life was created by Editorial Director and Publisher, Cara Boatswain, following her partners’ [Bart Beezley] diagnosis of a stomach tumour that lead to them suddenly forced to live a 100% gluten free lifestyle.

“After Bart’s diagnosis I was seeking out a gluten-free publication for recipes and health advice. I was shocked to find that there wasn’t an Australian title available from  newsagents” comments Cara Boatswain. “I figured if I was out looking for a magazine, I probably wasn’t alone and as my background is in publishing I decided to create one myself”.

Over recent years gluten-free diets have been viewed as a ‘fad’, however the reality is that an estimated  1 in every 60 females and 1 in every 80 males is living with Coeliac Disease. Even more alarming around 80% of those are still undiagnosed. Coeliac Disease is an extremely serious health condition that
untreated can prove life threatening. The only known treatment is to follow a gluten-free lifestyle.

“With this magazine we aim to speak directly to people who are either interested in a gluten-free lifestyle, or are required to live one. Our mission is to provide them with the right information and valuable tips to help them maintain their lifestyle and their health” comments Cara.
