Toyota uses a drive in and footy match to promote its new car models

Toyota has launched a new set of commercials promoting the features of both their latest Corolla and Camry models.

The 30 second Toyota Corolla ad features a man and a woman sitting in the car at a drive through as the woman points out the cars touch screen, voice recognition and a messaging app.

As the man exclaims the car was just $23,990 as the characters in the movie stop and say “$23,990? That’s actually great value”.

The second 30 second ad promotes the Toyota Camry Altise and shows two footy dads sitting in the car watching an Aussie Rules game as one of the guys lists the cars smart start, sat nav and black alloys.

When the second main reveals the car was just $29,990, the umpire of the match comes over and repeats the price as he calls a behind instead of a goal.

Toyota uses a roster of creative agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, OddfellowsDentsu and BWM Dentsu.
