Wunderman launches promo division

Wunderman has launched a specialist promotional marketing arm following its win of the Coke Unleashed business – and has hired three staff to run it.

Chris Yeo joins from Triad Communications will run the business, which will operate as a unit within Wunderman without its own brand name.

Yeo is joined by Christine Watts and Arianne Flintoff, who have experience marketing beauty, sport, alcoho, FMGC, alcohol, consumer electronics, motor and not-for-profit brands.

Watts worked at Pernod Ricard and Suntory.

“It quickly became apparent that promotions have become an intrinsic part of the digital landscape and can have significant impact on CRM and loyalty programmes,” said Wunderman MD Jo Lloyd.

“We’re finding that clients are keen to explore promotional opportunities outside of their traditional channels, particularly via member associations and partnership programs”.

Earlier this week, Wunderman appointed Meena Kumar from CHE to run the Melbourne office.
