Throughout her career she has also held positions at Carat, Channel T and Publicis.

In other news for the agency, senior account director Alexandra Harrison is relocating to Sydney to help with the agency’s local clients including Bupa, Steggles, Lilydale and Pace Farm.

Dan Monheit, co-founder at Hardhat, said: “Over the last 12 months, the Sydney market has been incredibly receptive to our offering and the growth has been phenomenal. Alex has been a driving force in the success we’ve achieved there to date and is the perfect person to lead the charge.

“At the same time, we’re thrilled to have Lani join as our strategy lead. Lani’s intelligence, presence and experience across the comms landscape make her an invaluable addition to the team. Iain did an amazing job igniting our transition from ‘digital’ to ‘creative’ agency, and we look forward to accelerating this move with Lani at the strategic helm.”
