Marketforce loses second CEO in six months with Paul Everingham to depart
The CEO of Clemenger Group’s Marketforce Paul Everingham will leave after just six months in the role.
Everingham took over in September after incumbent CEO John Driscoll resigned and subsequently popped up as CEO Western Australia for Seven West Media.
When Everingham returned from sabbatical to take on the Marketforce role, Clemenger Group chairman Robert Morgan said Everingham was highly qualified for the position.
“He is an extraordinarily creative, entrepreneurial and energetic individual. With highly developed business networks around Australia,” he said.
Prior to taking on the CEO role, Everingham was the CEO of Clemenger’s public affairs and corporate strategy firm GRA Everingham.
Senior Clemenger executive Jim Gall who has done extensive consulting to Marketforce over the past six months will step in as chairman and acting CEO.
The company said Gall is well versed in running integrated agencies in specialised markets.
Clemenger Group chairman Robert Morgan said: “I would like to thank Paul Everingham and wish him well for the future. We are committed to ensuring the ongoing success of our business in Perth and giving it the full resources of the Clemenger Group in the new era of data-led, new-age digital communications. Marketforce will become much closer to the Clemenger BBDO Network in the future. At the same time as continuing its proud WA heritage”.

Hi Melodrama*,
Apologies. My typo. A symptom of rushing out the door and getting the news at 5:10pm.
Thank you for flagging. It is correct now.
