20th Century Fox shifts media to Blue449

Blue449 has picked up the media account for 20th Century Fox following a pitch process, winning the account from Publicis Media stablemate Zenith.

The pitch process for the film studio and distributor kicked off two years ago, with the company taking multiple soundings in market ahead of the formal pitch process.

Publicis Media Group Australia CEO Matt James said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with 20 th Century Fox within Publicis Media.  The transition of the business to Blue 449 creates a fresh solution that will layer a new strategic perspective onto Fox’s business.  At the same time we will maintain access to the long term historical knowledge and legacy of Zenith’s 12 year relationship with the business.”

John Preston, CEO of Blue 449 Australia, added:  “To say we are excited about working on 20 th Century Fox is an understatement! We are privileged at the opportunity of partnering with them.  We look forward to leveraging our expertise at Blue 449 to support growth and build the Fox business.  This is a great testament to the versatility of the Publicis Media group working together for the benefit of the client.”

It makes it the third win for Blue449 for the year since the agency formerly known as Match Media rebadged. Earlier this year the agency won Southern Cross Travel Insurance and Royal Caribbean Cruises.

The agreed transition from Zenith to Blue 449 Australia will take place in the coming weeks.
